Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
HyperMonitors (“we”, “us”) provides uptime and status monitoring. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service and never sell your data.
Data we collect
Account data. When you sign up we store your email address through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). If you belong to an organisation, we store your membership and role.
Monitor configuration. The endpoints, hostnames, ports, request settings, intervals and status page content you create in order to be monitored.
Check results. The outcome of each check we run on your monitors — timestamps, response times, status codes, and error details — which power your dashboards and status pages.
Alert channel configuration. The destinations you choose to be notified on, including email addresses, phone numbers (for SMS alerts), and webhook URLs or tokens for Telegram, Slack and Discord.
Billing data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and plan tier; we never see or store full card numbers.
Cookies and tracking
We use first-party session cookies only, strictly to keep you signed in and to secure the application. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we set no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small number of processors to deliver the service. Data is shared with them only as needed for the functions below:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Resend / SMTP email — transactional and alert email delivery.
- LabsMobile — SMS alert delivery.
- Telegram, Slack and Discord — webhook-based alert delivery, only when you configure those channels.
Data retention
Check result logs are retained according to your plan tier: 30 days on the free tier, 90 days, 365 days, or 730 days on higher tiers. Older check logs are automatically deleted. Account, monitor and billing data are retained for as long as your account is active and for a short period afterwards as required for legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, export and erase your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; account deletion removes your monitors, check logs and alert configuration. To request a copy of your data, or to exercise any other right, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
